One of the many reasons that people come to Bali is to get a taste of the surf culture and learn how to ride a board in the reliable surf breaks at Kuta and Legian.

A large number of professional operators have set up shop over the years with Rip Curl and Quiksilver being the big names in the industry.

Tuition can easily be organised at either Kuta or Legian and the Surfing lessons will quite often include transport to and from your accommodation and should include board hire. For more on learning to surf, see our feature story on learning to surf in Bali.
