Sandy Bay
More for dining than swimming
What we say:
Probably not quite the stuff of paradisical dreams, this is a pretty beach with a couple of well-regarded restaurants overlooking it.
The seas were quite rough here when we visited, so we didn't get wet, but we've heard from others that when the sea is calm, this is a particularly beautiful spot, but that even on calm days you need to be wary of the currents. It doesn't enjoy the dramatic views of the north-facing beaches though, so this isn't the best sunset point on Nusa Lembongan.
This is best reached by bike or motorbike by following a spur off the road to Mushroom Bay. The road needs some work.

Sandy Bay
3rd January, 2012
Jan2012
For us(staying at thePoint Resort nearby) this was paradise! As the sun was setting and a bin tang went down, it doesn't get much better at the Beach Club.
A good choice of wines(expensive as usual!) and a good BBQ menu made it a nigh to remember
