The park is efficiently organised and run, with plenty of animals — elephants, tigers, Komodo dragons, orangutans — and opportunities to get up close to some of them.
Various packages are available so browse their website carefully to choose what will suit you best. We've only done the cheapest Jungle Hopper (US$35 for tourists), which includes a safari bus ride, which was well done, though packages go right through to overnighting at the park. On arrival check carefully the day's schedule to ensure you don't miss any shows or feeding sessions you're interested in.
How to get there
The park is a 30 minute drive from Sanur along the coastal highway to Candi Dasa. It is well-signposted.
