Shopping
Loads of options
What we say:
The shopping in Seminyak is all about the boutiques selling designer clothing and hand-crafted jewellery. Most of it happens on two roads: Jalan Raya Seminyak and Jalan Laksmana.
It starts in the south of Jalan Raya Seminyak with The Pramas Hat which sells a large range of women's hats in unique styles. Western quality swimwear for men and women is available at Niconico up the road.
Further along Jalan Raya Seminyak is Shrine Fashion Accessories which is dedicated to tweens and teens although may have some appeal to adults with bangles, bracelets, beads, bags and hairclips predominant. Paul Ropp has an outlet in this strip, but he has outlets everywhere. Serene Art of Living is a beautifully presented high class homewares shop specialising in locally made items.
Further north again, Dog's Tail sells accessories primarily for small dogs with items such as cute coats and dog tags. D-lighting is predictably a lighting shop for all your designer lighting and lamp needs.
At Seminyak Square, a relatively new development on Jalan Laksmana, are a range of shops such as Quiksilver, Periplus, Body and Soul and a range of restaurants. It feels a little bit like a Western mall.
The boutique clothes shops continue along Jalan Laksmana and it's a great place to shop, drink coffee, continue shopping, grab a bite to eat, do more shopping, grab a cocktail -- well you know how the rest goes. Fashionistas will not be disappointed with the shopping on offer in Seminyak.
