As well as being the cultural heart of Bali, Ubud also claims to be the spiritual heart and for years has attracted visitors interested in energetic healing, massage and yoga. Yoga Barn is one of the most popular venues.

Located at the southern end of Ubud, the Yoga Barn has drop-in classes scheduled for every day of the week and they range from classes for complete beginners to those for experts.

The studio itself is a large wooden floored pavilion with open sides to allow a cross-breeze when it's too hot and attached to it is a cafe serving a condensed version of the menu up the road at Kafe.

Yoga sessions are reasonably priced and it's possible to buy a card in advance which allows for discounts of up to 40% off the normal drop-in rate. A 20 class package costs 1,200,000 rupiah (to be used over the course of one year)

The Yoga Barn is located behind Siam Sally and Zen Spa.
