Just a short walk out of the main gates of Puro Mankunagaran and located on the charming public art-filled street of Jalan Diponegoro, Pasar Triwindu is an antique lovers paradise.Â

However, a word of warning... if you don't know your antiques well, be careful not to be fooled by claims of authenticity.Â Some of the goods here are reproductions.Â

Prices, however, are cheap and haggling is expected.Â Even if you don't have room in your backpack for colonial-era lightfittings, silverware and Javanese wooden masks, it's still a great place to browse.Â

On our visit, the shop owners weren't putting on any hard sells and were happy for us to just take a look.
