Ron is the guy to contact in Perlis if you are planning to do some serious trekking or get more in depth guidance. Regarded by most locals as a senior guide from the state park, Ron is also directly involved in a lot of nature research that goes on in Perlis. Adventure tours offered range from easy half-day tours like the Heritage Trail to conquering mountain peaks on the Nakawan range, where you'll camp overnight in the jungle. Other activities include descending into the deep limestone caves of Gua Wang Burma, boasting stunning formations unique to this area of Malaysia, or taking a Perlis Mountain Biking Sightseeing.
Tour costs cover accommodation, transfers, meals and activities as well as entrance and guidance fees. Since he runs his adventure company from his home it's best to send him a line or call him directly for information about the tours or special requests.
