What we say: 3 stars

The origin of the Ayer Hangat Hot Springs is traced to the base of Gunung Mat Raya and a volcanic eruption, some million years ago.

The naturally saltwater springs are rich in minerals and have attracted many visitors whom believe in the medicinal qualities. In addition to the public pools there are 12 private Jacuzzi areas, each with its' own pool, cold shower and toilet. These can be rented per hour for 150 ringgit.

Although the water’s floating algae bits that may not appeal to all visitors, the hot spring grounds have a few shaded pavilions where you can relax and enjoy the Zen landscape. There is also a small food court for refreshments and souvenir stalls selling everything from small wooden eagles to magic potions for improving your sex life.
