What we say:

Proof that Singaporeans truly can't get enough shopping, these two large malls are opposite each other.

Bugis Junction and Iluma are geared toward younger shoppers with music stores, cosmetic shops and affordable, everyday fashion from brands like Giordiano, Levi's and Billabong.

Each mall has a foodcourt, movie theatre and lots of casual chain restaurants like McCafe and Sakae Sushi.

Not to be confused with the nearby Bugis Street Market, Bugis Junction has a glass-roofed shopping street with kiosks and cafes spilling onto the fake sidewalk.
