Singapore's liveliest street market
What we say:
The second-level is designated for local designers and a good place to shop for unique jewellery and clothing at reasonable prices. Of course, if you're in the market for mass-produced Merlion T-shirts there are plenty of those too (3 for S$10). If you work up an appetite from all the shopping there's a food court and plenty of street food. Interesting factoid: the original Bugis Street was synonymous with the sex trade and demolished in the 1980s to make way for the MRT.
