East Coast Park
A great spot for a bike ride or a really long walk
What we say:
Stretching more than 15 kilometres along Singapore's east coast, this is a great spot for a bike ride or a really long walk.
The massive oil tankers in the distance deter most people from swimming, but the park is still packed on weekends when hordes of people come to enjoy the fresh air and fresh seafood from the beachside restaurants.
Family-friendly activities like bowling, golfing and water skiing have popped up and you can rent bicycles.
Bus #401 to the park runs only on weekends and holidays.
Have your say
