Singapore Night Safari
You really do see them in a different light
What we say:
Ever been to the zoo when the lions weren't napping? "See them in a different light" is the motto of this zoo spin-off and it's true.
Many animals normally dozing through the daytime heat are awake and active come the evening. The simulated moonlight lets you get a good look and a few blurry photos of big cats, hyenas and deer and you can get a little too close for comfort with bats and flying squirrels in walk-through enclosures.
One disappointment — some animals can only be viewed from the tram ride, which is an extra S$10/$5 on top of the already sizable admission fee.
Have your say
