Jurong Bird Park
For the birds... and everyone else
What we say:
Rounding out the trio of animal-themed attractions is Jurong Bird Park.
It ranks as the world's second largest bird park in terms of size, but comes out on top for their number of feathered species (600) which range from the beautiful (birds of paradise) to the downright bizarre (cassowaries).
All of the birds are in free-fly aviaries so have plenty of room to stretch their wings. If you want to see what a happy penguin or ostrich looks like, visit during the daily feeding times.
Like the Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park is huge and you can pay an extra S$5/S$3 for the air-con monorail.
Have your say
