Singapore Botanic Gardens & National Orchid Garden
One of the prides of Singapore
What we say:
One of the prides of Singapore is this lush garden with more than 10,000 tropical species.
While you can see 99% of them for free, visitors must pay for full access to the orchid collection (many named after celebrities who have visited) and Cool House with carnivorous plants.
Even if you skip the paid area it's possible to spend all day smelling the flowers and the gardens continue to expand with a new Evolution Garden and children's play area.
Facilities include cafes, souvenir shops, an education centre, clean public bathrooms and outdoor stage with free concerts.
