Cathedral of the Good Shepherd
Important centre for Southeast Asian Catholicism
What we say:
Its status was elevated to cathedral in 1888 and, save for a period during World War II when it served as a makeshift hospital, it's been an important centre for Catholicism in Southeast Asia ever since.
It is currently the seat of the Archbishop of Singapore and holds regular Sunday Mass.
