Singapore Flyer
Round and round
What we say:
At 165 metres high — 30 metres higher than the London Eye — the Singapore Flyer is the world's tallest observation wheel.
One rotation takes about 40 minutes which is plenty of time to soak up the view of downtown Singapore and beyond; on a clear day you can see all the way to Indonesia.
Each capsule is air-conditioned and can contain 28 people. If you don't like to share come just before closing on a weekday when there's a chance you'll get one all to yourself.
Discounts are usually offered for online ticket bookings, otherwise it's S$29.50 for adults and S$20.50 for children.
