Marina Barrage
More than just a dam
What we say:
This colossal dam was designed to create a reservoir and control flooding, but has become an attraction in its own right.
Visit the free ‘Sustainable Singapore Gallery' to learn about the city-state's efforts to be green (crucial when you have no natural resources) or just enjoy the views from the grassy rooftop.
Marina Barrage is busiest on weekends when people come to check out the new seaside restaurants and take their children to the free water playground.
There's bus service to Marina Barrage from Marina Bay MRT.
