The hall features some intriguing wood carvings, particularly some three-dimensional work on the upstairs front area along with the usual dragons and phoenixes.
Inside there is more ornate carving and some strikingly altars.
Opposite the hall is a stage area used for performances during the vegetarian festival.
How to get there
Walk down Ratchawong Road, past Sampaeng Lane, till you reach a small soi that runs off to your right. The Thonburi Textile Mills will be just ahead on the other side of the road. Walk down the soi to the end and you'll be at the hall. Alternatively, continue down Ratchawong Road till you reach Anuwong Road, turn left and take the second tiny soi on your right. Follow it to the end and turn left.
