Wat Po Si Nai

Little to see at the moment

No pic at the moment -- Sorry!

What we say: 2.5 stars

This temple is the site of the burial ground which in 1992 was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Currently undergoing reconstruction, 97% of the items have been removed and are in storage at the museum for safekeeping. As a result, there is very little of interest to see unless you are a die hard archaeology enthusiast. Due to ongoing legal battles, it is unknown when the restoration will be complete. When it is, the site will no doubt be of much interest, although there is presently little English signage. It's worth a look if you are in the area or have transport, but in the beating sun it seems a long walk from the museum for little gain. Entrance fee is included in the museum ticket.
