Khao Tao Beach
Utterly empty of people
What we say: 
Very similar in size to Suan Son Beach, Khao Tao Beach, 18km south of Hua Hin, is clean but is usually utterly empty of people. As with most beaches in this area, it's very calm and the water is shallow a long way out from shore, so it is more suited to paddling than swimming.
There is no accommodation available and if you were coming out for what would be a very pleasant day trip, you'd be wise to bring some food and drink just in case the few foodie stalls take the day off.
