What we say:

Located 4km from Ha Tien, Thac Dong is the only pagoda in town that really deserves a visit. Enter the labyrinthine caverns to find cloistered altars and chambers concealing funerary tablets. The echoing tunnels are strangely atmospheric, adding a solemnity to the simple shrines. Hike up to the openings in the cavern walls to enjoy views out to nearby Cambodia. It's home to a colony of bats, so be mindful not to look directly up.
