Suoi Tien Theme Park
A Vietnamese-style theme park
What we say:
Off of the Hanoi Highway in Ho Chi Minh City's District 9, Suoi Tien Theme Park is attempting to be the new standard of theme parks in Vietnam.
Decorated with Buddha statues and sculpted dragons, the centrepiece of the park is a large waterfall with the face of an emperor sculpted into it. The face overlooks Tien Dong beach, an artificial saltwater beach.
The park is filled with new modern features including a monorail and even a zoo, complete with a lake full of crocodiles.
A park built more for leisure than excitement; Suoi Tien offers a safer alternative to the more popular Dam Sen Water Park.
