What we say:

Only open on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the racetrack is hardly a family day out, but rather a collection of gamblers trying to increase what little money they have.

Still, it can be an interesting excursion - play dumb and the locals may give you some tips though of course you'll have to learn some Vietnamese numbers first.

Bets can be placed in multiples of 10,000 VND and races are usually 30 minutes apart.
