Where am I again?
Region: Northern Thailand> Province: Nan>Location: Doi Phukha National Park

Description
This scenic 4.5km, leech-infested trail takes you through a range of forests from untouched watershed and reforested forest to wild banana groves and natural regrowth. It's an interesting walk that certainly doesn't get much traffic, as indicated by the leech infestation.

It takes two to three hours to walk the whole hike at a reasonable pace.

If you're staying in the park, this is the most accessible actvity.

How to get there: The trailhead is about 50 metres before the park restaurant.

8km from the park office

Description
These ancient palm trees can be seen either during the nature trail or at a constructed viewpoint around 8km from the park office. The road here is very hilly and walking it would take a long time.

How to get there: If you don't have your own transport ask one of the park staff if they'll give you a ride -- they're a friendly bunch but don't speak any English.
