This cultural centre appears to be underfunded, underutilised, underseen and certainly not really worth visiting.
The centre contains a small and dusty ramshackle collection of Thai Lue goods and handicrafts. It is not worth the trip to Chiang Kham to see, though if you're in Chiang Kham anyway, you may as well take a look and learn a thing or two.

Northern end of town
How to get there: Walk north on the main road for about 10 minutes until you have a Hitachi store on your right and there is a soi running off to your left with a wat just ahead. Follow the soi for about 5 minutes and you'll reach a small bridge, cross the bridge and the centre is on your left.

This small wat is a meld of Thai and Burmese styles and has been restored a couple of times since its initial construction around the turn of the 19th century.
It's quite garish in style though the roof supports are unusual and photogenic.
A visit here is best combined with a visit to the weaving centre within the grounds.
