Getting There and Away

Bus

Public buses run from Phnom Penh to Kompong Cham regularly, take 3-4 hours and cost 8,000Riel.

Boat

As at July 2005, regular boat services to Kratie and Phnom Penh had ceased. We were advised these services will not recommence in high season, however given the poor state of the road, occasional boat services may occur. Check for updated information in Kratie, Stung Treng and Kompong Cham.

Other

Taxis between Kompong Cham and Phnom Penh cost $15 for the whole car or $3 a seat. The trip takes about 2-2.5 hours.
