Getting there and away
Koh Ta Kiev is an hour by boat from Sihanoukville. Ten 103 runs a daily longtail boat from Otres Beach, with a free tuk tuk from central Sihanoukville. The return boat leaves the island at 9am.
Crusoe Island run an on demand service from Otres Beach at 11am, returning from the island at 8am. Bookings should be made directly and boat tickets paid on arrival at the island. In bad weather or for bookings of 5 people or more, they will arrange a boat from Ream National Park for $8 return. The boat ususally leaves at 4pm. Koh Ta Kiev Bungalows also run boats from Otres Beach – call in advance on (088) 883 3223 for the $15 round trip.
You can also get arrange a private boat with Mr Yeat on (016) 658564 with pickup from the pier on Seredipity Beach. A day trip costs about $40 although prices are higher on holidays. A 'landing fee' of $1 per person is payable to the island police.
