Getting there and away
Bus
All long-distance buses pass by the Balian turn-off on the main road so if you're heading in either direction it is just a matter of flagging a bus down or jumping in a bemo. The fare should be 15,000 rupiah to either Denpasar (Ubung Terminal) or Tabanan.
From the turnoff to the beach isn't really walking distance (unless you really like walking) so you'll need to grab an ojek or charter a bemo for the run down — don't worry — they'll find you.
