Overall, because of its isolation, you're best to come here with your own hired car or motorbike as otherwise you'll be very limited in what you can get to, as while it is possible to get around on a bicycle to many of the local attractions anything further afield will require an awful lot of pedalling.
If you don't want to hire transport and bemos are not your thing, contact one of the two places to stay and see about a pick-up — it is worth the cost to get here.
