Getting Around
Like Trawangan and Meno, there is no motorised transport on Gili Air. Your only options are horse-power and people-power.
As with the other islands, the pricing of the cidomo or horse carts are somewhat removed from reality — expect to be charged 50,000 rupiah for even a shortish jaunt and always confirm the price before getting going.
A much better option is to hire a bicycle. They generally go for 30,000 rupiah per day.
Lastly, Gili Air isn't a big island and unless you have loads of bags or kids, or you are staying at the far tip of the island, you should be able to walk to wherever you are staying.
