The main bus station in Lak Xao is located 100m east of the roundabout on Route 8. Sample fares are as follows:
Paksan: 06:00, costs 60,000 kip
Tha Khaek: 07:30, costs 60,000 kip
Vieng Kham: 08:30, 16:00, costs 35,000 kip
Vientiane: 05:30, 06:30, 08:00, costs 85,000 kip
Vinh (Vietnam): 12:00, costs 120,000 kip
