Boat

Tha Athit pier is the closest to Khao San Rd while Thawet pier is the closest to the Dusit area.

The khlong boat that runs down Khlong San Saeb leaves from near the base of the Golden Mount, a ten minute walk from Khao San Rd.

Motorcycles
Motorcycle taxis are available at each end of Khao San Rd. Agree on price before leaving.

Tuk Tuks
Be sure to agree on price before hand. Do not accept offers of a free or heavily discounted trip as you'll end up in gem stores.

Taxis
For taxis you are best to flag one down off Ratchadamnoen Road. Avoid paerked taxis and never travel with one that will not turn their meter on.

Getting Around

All of Banglamphu can be easily reached on foot. Its about a 30 minute walk from Khao San to the Dusit area.
