Traffic can be appalling along Sukhumvit Rd and most of the time you're better off on the skytrain.
Sukhumvit Rd:
Regular buses: 2,25,38,40,48,93
A/C buses: 1,2,8,11,13,38

Ratchadaphisek Rd:
Regular buses: 136
A/C buses: 22

BTS Skytrain
Asok this is most convenient for lower Sukhumvit, the Siam Society and Soi Cowboy.

Phrom Phong this is most convenient for mid Sukhumvit, Benchasiri Park and Emporium.

Getting Around

Watch out for dodgy tuk-tuks in this area. Sukhumvit isn't particularly pleasant to walk along but is well-served by skytrain. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the Asok intersection to Emporium.
