Getting there and away

Boat

Any boat to Ko Maak will stop near Ko Kham on request, and a smaller boat from Ko Kham will meet you and take you ashore. Chartering a private boat to Ko Kham from Ko Maak costs 70B return, starting any time from 08:00 and returning whenever you're ready. It's possible to wade across to the island via a thin, submurged strip of sand connecting Ko Kham with Ko Maak, but ask the locals if they think this is a good idea at any given time of year.
