Getting There and Away

Train

Lopburi is on the main line to Chiang Mai, so if you are on a tight schedule, it is possible to leave Bangkok or Ayutthaya on an early train, spend a few hours in Lopburi, then hop on one of the afternoon or evening trains to Chiang Mai or Phitsanulok. You can leave your bags at Lopburi station.

Bus

The bus station in Lopburi is in the new quarter, on the south side of the massive roundabout. Aircon buses leave for Bangkok regularly from here, while most of the other regional destinations are served by non-aircon buses. Regular buses leave for Saraburi and Wat Phra Phutthabat throughout the day.

Getting Around

Tuk tuks, samlors and motorcycles cost between 10B and 20B depending on distance.
