Boat

Speed boats to Coral Island depart from the Ao Chalong pier and charge 700B each way. Departure time is daily at 09:00, and the boats return to the main land in the afternoon around 14:30.

Ko Raya is about 20 kilometres off Phuket's south coast and it takes 30 to 45 minutes to reach the island by speed boat. Ban Raya and The Racha offer expensive transfers. The Rayaburi offers transport at 800B. Otherwise, speedboats to Ko Raya depart daily at 09:00 from the Chalong pier and cost about 900B, depending on the season and number of passengers. Be sure to arrive by 08:30 to allow for time to locate the right boat and secure your place on it. Boats back to Chalong depart from Ko Raya's floating pier around 15:00 and 16:00.

You can book a tour to one of the islands or both directly with Raya Princess Tour. The office is located on the street leading from the lighthouse to Chao Fa. A joint Coral and Raya island tour starts at 2,200B (1,500B for children) with rates dropping drastically during low season. All tours include fruit and softdrinks on board, buffet lunch and snorkel equipment.
