Getting Around

While you could probably walk from Mae Haad to Chalok Ban Kao in about 30 minutes, it's certainly not a trip you want to make with any baggage. Longtails to Chalok cost about 400B for one or two people and 200B/person after that. A taxi should cost 100B for one or two and then 50B/person to/from Mae Haad and 150B for one or two and then 80B/person to/from Sairee. Remember these prices go up significantly in the evening. A plethora of motorbike rentals are also available in Chalok for 200-250B, depending on size.
