Avoid having to overnight in Gilimanuk if you can, but if you must, a couple of decent basic choices that won’t give you that need-a-shower-after-staying-there feeling are conveniently close to the port.
Hotel Dewi Warsiki is the best of a not-so-great choice of digs in Gilimanuk. Rooms are the cleanest of the bunch, and some of the top floor rooms offer views across to Java. If your budget doesn’t quiet stretch to staying at Hotel Dewi Warsiki, and you only need to most basic of facilities, Hotel Surya will provide a modest room for a modest price.
