Accommodation in Jepara is thin on the ground, but a few reasonable places exist in the eastern part of town.

This old-style hotel is quite typical in Indonesia; there's a distinct lack of maintenance and a budget atmosphere, and this despite some room prices being mid-range at Kalingga Star. The driver room has a fan, a table and private bathroom with Western toilet and bak mandi.
