This is one of the better guesthouses in town. The rooms here come with mini fridge, cable TV, table and chair and hot water bathroom with Western toilet. Souriya has two large imposing buildings separated by a Vietnamese coffee shop. One of the buildings is newer and houses the more expensive rooms. Phout Thavong is a popular guesthouse in the centre of town which receives most of its business from tour groups. Accordingly you’ll occasionally see other foreign tourists here swinging through on their way to or from Vietnam and often bus loads of locals.
