There's only one place to stay in Thalang, and at some point in 2007, it's going to have to relocate as the Nam Theun dam project floods the river valley.
This place doesn't have a proper name but a sign out on the main road dubs is 'Service Guesthouse' which is just the Laotain way of indicating that tourists should stay here and it's not just a short-time place or a flop house.
