This is the departure point for boat trips over to Ko Taen, which has a 2km stretch of sand and not much else except for two resorts and a small boat mooring spot. If you want the old-style, unadulterated Samui, far away from the bars and discos, travel agents and tailors - that is, lovely empty beach with clean swimming, this could be what you're looking for.
