Accommodation

Hon Son

You can still stay in rooms in local homes on Hon Son, but there are also a few purpose-built accommodation options. Expect basic rooms and bring your own towel and toilet paper. A travel sleep sheet or sarong will also come in handy, as will a torch – electricity is intermittent. Your guesthouse can prepare meals for you, no doubt fresh seafood will be on the dinner table.

There’s no sand beach and the area is fairly exposed but on a calm day swimmers will have no problem. As with Beach Hotel, the rooms are basic. The... Read our full review of Tam Ca Guesthouse.
