A decent backpacker choice
Nan Ayar Inn is a small minty-blue/green single storey guesthouse offering bare basic fare with not too much charm.
The staff are friendly but offer few services, though the rooms are clean-ish with basic furniture. It’s cleaner and more accommodating than Moon Joy but you will also pay a little more for it. You might consider treating yourself to another guesthouse if you’re not on a strict budget. The location is good as it’s a short walk from the lake and its surrounding restaurants. It’s also not too far from Loikaw City Restaurant and its beer on tap.
