Poorest value in Pyay
The Pyay Strand is the worst value of the hotels in Pyay, but if you must have a view of the river from your room, this is just about the only place that you’ll find it.
Rooms are of a good size, with the riverside ones having the views, and they come with TV and minibar, and all have air-con. Beds here are rock hard, which is an odd feature in a town full of really soft beds. Most of the staff speak no English but an older gentleman we came across on the way out was quite chatty. This is poor value compared to Lucky Dragon next door and for very similar rooms the Smile Hotel is a better deal. However if for some reason is busy, they do have a lot of rooms here so it could be worth a try.
What we were quoted as a walk-in.
