The principal advantage of this otherwise characterless hotel is its location on Phsar Krom Street, from where you can conceivably visit most of Kompong Chhnang's sights on foot.

There’s little wrong with the actual rooms, and the manager we met was helpful, but the collection of concrete blocks in a wide and bare compound creates a distinct municipal building feel.
It is set back down a short lane from the road, so it's quiet, and with so much space available between the blocks of rooms you can’t help but feel that with a bit of a cash and imagination injection you could make this into something pretty good. For now, wake up the underemployed manager and he’ll show you one of the bare but clean enough air-con rooms in one of the two-storey, freshly painted buildings with its air-con, TV, fridge, hot water showers and zero decor.
There’s no breakfast or restaurant – though acres of space for one – and no communal areas that we could see. Perhaps concluding that the location suffices, we couldn’t see any bicycles or motorbikes for hire either. These are the cheapest air-con rooms we found in town and even come in triple versions, but you can’t help feeling this is a waste of a great location.
