Kep Arun Rass Guesthouse

Our rating:
4 stars, based on 1 expert review

Kep Arun Rass Guesthouse is a simple, unpretentious affair with 13 spacious, modern rooms that are spotlessly clean and nicely turned out especially when considering the price.

If you’re not able to spring for the large rooms at the top, try to get one on the first (middle) floor as these still have views out to the sea. The ground floor rooms give straight out on to the garden, which is lovely but we felt that something more could be made of it with the addition of tables and chairs or loungers. The air-con rooms are not the most romantic you’ll find in Kep, but they’re excellent value nonetheless, and a lot less grungy than other places you might find at similar prices. This is for those who are not really into communing with nature while in their pyjamas. They don’t have a restaurant, but Kep Lodge is just up the road, and the crab market less than a kilometre away.
