Sunny Guest House kind of evokes a motel-style feel, with a collection of simple, but clean and nicely decorated rooms arranged around a courtyard/parking area at the front and a pool at the back.
Just 200 metres east of the Street 3/Street 7 junction, family-run Sunny has mid-size rooms that offer air-con, tv, and hot water showers. The rooms are actually kind of cute. There is no restaurant as such, but there is a small cafe outisde, and you’re only a hop and a skip from Fat Sam’s down the road. The pool is not very well shaded, so will likely get quite warm and soupy in the afternoon, but it’s still one of the only ones in town. If Sunny is full, you could try Rasmey Buntham Guesthouse closer to the riverside.
