Tucked into the best end of 450 metre-long Sunset Beach, Huba Huba is a charming little hideaway in a quiet location that represents good value.

The accommodation is, like most on Koh Rong Samloem, simple. There are four family bungalows with verandas right on the beach – consisting of a double bed plus two twins – as well as wooden jungle double bungalows on the hillside. From the latter you can sometimes spot monkeys roaming around the treetops.
When we last visited in mid-2016, the family bungalows seemed more than a little tired (we've been advised by management in late 2016 they've since been renovated). Some of the bungalows have private bathrooms; the jungle bungalows have shared bathrooms. The jungle bungalows were full, but the share bathroom rooms inside the main building were clean and well-ventilated.
The bar and restaurant is a beautiful space and above is a lovely spacious lounge, with hammocks, Thai cushions and a cool view of the beach and jungle. They hold regular barbecues, film screenings and poker tournaments to help keep boredom at bay.
If you're deliberating between Huba Huba and Robinson's Bungalows
, we would go for Robinson's for their significantly better finish. If it's nearing the end of dry season, they're also more likely to have water.
The Dive Shop, beside Monkey Republic on Serendipity Road in Sihanoukville, arranges boat transportation to Sunset beach costing $20 return for the 2.5 hour journey.
