These very comfy-looking shelters come with bed linen and mattress, and if you don't fancy that, there's also a magnificent field tent that looks fit for a safari and comes with a very comfortable double bed. It will soon also have an all-night fan.
"Everything there just always seems to work," was the view of one competitor of Sleeping Trees. And the site did look very well planned out. Like many others, it's run on solar power, including phone recharge stations, which is more than sufficient to illuminate the open beach bar, barbecue, and nearby entertainments -- a pool table, dart board, petanque pitch and netball court.
If you need your world to feel a little more solid, Sleeping Trees also has simple ensuite wooden bungalows facing the sea. But that seems to spoil the fun a little. Not least because you won't be able to stare at the stars as you can from the tree tents when there is no risk of rain.
The owner is aiming to set up the field tent with solar power — fan all night long too! — though with the breezes that come in off the sea, you won’t need to worry about that for much of the year.
